(1) Diesel Generator Enable Settings

  • Gen Enable: Activates the generator control function.
  • Gen Charge Enable: Controls the generator’s charging function.
  • Gen Manual Mode: Enables manual control of the generator. Note that manual control and automatic control are mutually exclusive; enabling one will disable the other.
  • Gen Manual Start/Stop: Provides an on/off command when the generator is in manual control mode.
  • Gen Auto Start/Stop: Enables automatic generator control, allowing it to start and stop via the dry contact signal.
  • Gen Connect to Grid: When enabled, the generator can connect to the grid input port.
  • Gen to Load2: When enabled, the generator port can function as a secondary load output port.

(2) Diesel Generator Parameter Settings

  • Start SOC: When the battery’s State of Charge (SOC) falls below the setpoint, the generator’s dry contact will be activated, and manual operation will be disabled. The connected generator will then start automatically.
  • Stop SOC: When the battery’s SOC rises above the setpoint, the generator’s dry contact will remain enabled, and manual operation will be disabled. The connected generator will then stop automatically. (Note: START SOC should be less than STOP SOC).
  • Charge Current: Specifies the maximum current the inverter can draw from the generator to charge the battery.
  • Generator Power: Indicates the rated power output of the generator.
  • Cooling Time: Refers to the waiting period before the generator can restart after reaching its designated running time. The unit is 0.1 hour.
  • Max Operating Time: Specifies the maximum duration the generator can operate within a 24-hour period. Once this limit is reached, the generator will shut down. A value of 240 corresponds to 24 hours of continuous operation. The unit is 0.1 hour.
